CICP is committed to providing community-based training and educational experiences that will effectively identify, address and resolve problems and enhance the quality of life within our communities. We provide training throughout North and South Carolina . CICP is unique among Regional Community Policing Institutes (RCPI) in the United States . It is the only RCPI offering courses in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for crime analysis and community policing. GIS tools provide the functionality to perform anything from automated pin mapping to providing management support for personnel deployment and redistricting. Through the virtual maps that can be created using GIS, a more complete picture of a particular community can be formed.
